Origins in the shattered west#
Formed by renegade mortuary clerics and siege-necromancers after the western collapse, the Covenant of the Ashen Bell holds that the living kingdoms squandered their right to govern when Magnus Prime burned.
Charnel strongholds and dark diplomacy#
From fog-choked dark-fantasy strongholds, the Covenant raises skeletal garrisons to work silent fields and guard charnel vaults. Unlike living realms that declare Purge Necromancy wars against risen rulers, the Covenant readily accepts necromancer lords as vassals or allies.
