Twilight estates#
The Court of the Sanguine Chalice rules a string of gothic hill-towns where heavy mist and dark-fantasy architecture cloak the streets. Their treaties are older than the successor baronies around them.
Patronage of the undying#
Unlike living monarchs who recoil from charnel sorcery, the Chalice lords view necromancers and blood-mages as natural peers in the hierarchy of the undying, offering patronage, liege protection, and dark alliances to those who ascend through death or blood.
