Saffron Stormlands
Public lore preserves the setting's disagreements and uncertain histories.
In Pashara, aromatic crop belts and charged desert fronts combine into colored weather systems during certain seasons. Fine spice particles turn lightning gold or red. Caravans crossing active stormlands bind cloth over animals' faces and travel by trained scent-readers. The harvest is rich enough to justify the risk, which is why whole houses have grown wealthy by treating weather as a scheduled inconvenience rather than an act of God.
